What to expect with peacock and mate

We are thinking about getting a hen for our peacock. He is a stray and get very lonely just hanging out with our chickens. Or at least frustrated. Our daughter has a classmate that sells hens and we are just wondering what life will be like with a pair. Any insights? Thanks.
