Azalea in pot

Painesville, OH(Zone 5b)

What trailing plants would be good companions in soil that is moist and acidic? TIA, Tamara

If you want something light and fluffy, lobelia or bacopa would do well. They both will take light shade and acidic soil. Plus you would have flowers when the azalea quits blooming. Some million bells would also be nice and drape over the pot nicely, they seem to be very non picky about soil and amount of sun.

Rebecca, I just happened to see this post. I've been thinking about million bells for a north facing balcony that gets a couple of hours of morning sun and same in the afternoon. Do you think they'd do okay there?

Thanks Rebecca! Tamara
