I love the SDBs. They bloom for me even in part shade. But all my other SDBs are being swamped by a rampaging indigo beast tentatively identified as "Banbury Ruffles". That works out to a LOT of indigo with single blossoms of yellow (Baby Blessed) or peach. I'd like to lighten up the bed with a white or mostly-white SDB that can give "Banbury Ruffles" some competition. Does anyone know of such an SDB? Maybe a plicata like "Stitch Witch"?
I need a white SDB that multiplies
A pure white SDB that grows well for me is Zero...meaning "zero" color. Even the beards are white. Another one that I like is Crystalline Entity. Here's some pictures from the PlantFiles:

I love the beards on CE!
Yes, CE does have great beards.
An SDB plicata that you can't go wrong with is 'Starbaby'. Here's a picture of that one:

'Eramosa Snowball' is cream with hints of yellow

'Gentle Grace' is mostly white with a blue spot:

'Lime Smoothy' is mostly white with a lime-yellow spot:

Hopefully, I've given you some ideas. There are lots of great SDBs out there...these are just a few that grow well for me.
Blue Line is a vigorous blue-bearded white.

Thanks, Elizabethtown, laurie, flowerfrenzy. What great replies. I should have said so sooner, but work picked up and I'm back to weekends-only gardening. I love the photos of Blue Line, Serenity Prayer, and With Castanets. Starbaby may be even nicer than Stitch Witch. And I have and adore Gentle Grace, but I haven't given it the right spot, or else it's too gentle to shoulder Banbury Ruffles aside.
Blue Line, Serenity Prayer, and With Castanets are all very vigorous clumpers that should be able to compete with your rampaging indigo. Gentle Grace is absolutely gorgeous, but she's also a very slow grower for me. I doubt if she could slug it out with a garden thug. I just planted Starbaby last summer and it bloomed for me this spring. It's a wonderful plic! It's too new in my garden for me to know how vigorous a clumper it'll be, though.
