Thanks. I still have to figure out the difference between the Spanish iris and the Dutch iris. Many years ago I had a Dutch boyfriend and his mother called these Spanish iris, saying that was the country of their origin. You don't see much about Spanish iris here, mostly the Europeans use that term. Are they the same, with what we call Dutch iris maybe a hybrid of the Spanish?

The lighting was excellent for this picture. The dappled light on the driftwood behind the flower was gorgeous. And I think the camera focused on the blue in the flower and made it jump out. Yes, it looks 3D to me too. I was pleased. Here's another, longer shot.
