Just wondering if anyone is growing this in Kansas (or neighboring states)? We moved to a new house in November and the previous owners had dropped three of these guys into the front beds in October. They took the winter very hard and most of the leaves turned black. After reading up on them, I cut them off to about 4" above the ground and transplanted them to the backyard, to provide more shade (and I have better soil back there)
They are shooting new shoots and leaves already - any further tips or advice on these guys?
