loud sound in southeast ? japanese iris..

If any of you heard a loud noise this morning coming from the southeast part of the USA..It was me yelling when I noticed that my first Japanese iris bloom had opened :)

Beautiful! I had never seen a Japanese iris until last year, they are really growing on me.
