does anyone know if a silkie rooster would be aggresive towards females(at least enough to produce fertility)?

well, i don't see why not, but perhaps i don't quite understand your question....
About everyone I know with silkies gets chicks on a regular basis, so I guess the guys know what they're doing. Just as importantly, the hens make good mamas.
sounds good to me, i am getting some older hens and a silkie rooster and i want to hatch some.
