Is This a Canna?

Anybody recognize this? I didn't think it was a canna, but...

It looks like a canna but I don't know the cultivar. I've never grown any white ones though they do exist.

Definitely a canna, maybe Milk Festival?

I always save packaging, tags, anything I buy or trade for that comes with plants, seeds, or bulbs.

I went back and looked at the tags I had, and found a card that came with a canna rhizome, called 'Yellow Futurity'. I'm thinking now that this is what this plant is.

It's not so yellow, but it's still in the pot - probably needs some fertilizer, and I think it wants to be planted.

The petal shape looks like a futurity, I have the pinks....but you're right, I think the yellow should be brighter....I think that's why we all thought it was a white...

That must be what it is, then. I'll get it in the ground, and I'll bet it gets more yellow with good, fertile soil.
