I don't think that this is Queen's Circle so........

Anybody know what this cultivar is? I thought that it was going to be Queen's Circle. I think that it may be Sapphire Halo but I'm not sure. Kerr's photos are sometimes a little hard to see. Here's the description by Mid America
Kerr 03; White w/ wide blended lavender-blue band & darker edge.
Here's the one by Kerr
(Kerr 2003) Sdlg 9700602. TB 36" M. Here is a beautiful variation on the Queen's Circle pattern. The signature white standards are ruffled and domed. The wide, semi-flaring falls have big ruffles. The color of the falls is pale blue with a large white area beside and below the light yellow beards. Dark blue quarter inch edge surrounds the fall which also sports an eighth inch of transparent icicle edging. (Azure Icicle X Queen's Circle)

And here's the link to the photo

I'm confused.

It looks like the Queen's Circle at Blue J Iris website (www.bluejiris.com). I bought this one last year at our local iris sale....mine turned out to be apricot.

The ones in the plant files look similar: http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/60767/index.html

Maybe you're right Niel. I saw Margiempv's photo and it looked like a much smaller rim. The desert sometimes makes her flowers paler though.

The only real difference I see is that all of the Queen's Circle photos have white tips on their beards and this doesn't. What do you think?

I know that it has to be Queen's Circle kin anyway.

Here is a link to my Queen's Circle from last year:

Looks like it to me.
