Umm...questionable kitchen habits at public functions...

Hulbert, OK(Zone 7a)

Yesterday I volunteered to help prepare a big
public food shindig set to begin this afternoon.

The process involved cooking quite a large batch of
seasoned hamburger meat. Apparently the women in
charge have been doing it 'the old way' for so long that
my 'newfangled ways and ideas' were not appreciated.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I worked in the food industry
for quite some time and don't need a safety sheet to tell me
something is wrong.

No need to go into detail, let's suffice it to say this place
is in dire need of an updated and modern safety checklist.
A proper food preparation handling guideline sheet, something,
anything! Perhaps a label on the bleach bottle under the
sink that reads "USE ME".

Could someone suggest a site which might provide such a
sheet, whether standard or magnetic for their refrigerator?

I'm sure these ladies are all nice in their own ways, but it
seemed to me and a few others who volunteered our time that
they were more concerned with preserving the way they do
things than doing things the proper and safe way.
