This year I'm planning on growing four varieties of round zucchini - Tatume, Ronde de Nice, One Ball, Tondo Piaceve - with the idea that they can be grown up on a trellis. I'd love to hear from anyone who's had experience with these varieties.

Round zucchini on a trellis?
Have never tried to grow trellis zucchini, it is not really a vining, climbing crop. Don't mean to discourage you but it might be a bit difficult to do it successfully. Let us know how it goes.
Loulaz, so these are vining varieties rather than bush?
The first two -Ronde de nice and Tatume - are described as vining by the seed sources. I'm assuming the other two are also. One Ball is a small, round yellow variety that was written about in Organic Gardening magazine this year. I bought the seeds from Hollar Seeds.
I have grown the Tondo di Nizza. http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/92339/index.html The vines will grow 6 to 8 feet, but are very heavy. It would take a relatively low stout trellis. I am trialing One Ball this year.
