Native plants ID

(Zone 6a)

I need a few native plants ID'd....should I post pics here or in the identification forum?

Thanks,
Steve

I usually post the natives here, then if no luck I would go to the id forum. The indigenous/native gardeners spend a lot of time here and are extremely helpful. Matter of fact I know there is some more stuff on my camera that needs attention.

Thanks Molly. I'll take some pics then and post them soon!

The camera says it needs recharging so I won't be able to post pics for a while :(

I have a couple native plants I'm dieing to know what they are so I'll do my best to describe them.

#1. Is about 6" tall with pinnate deep green leaves that have small white spots on them. The leaves are about 6" from base of stem to tip and about 3" wide. The leaves unfurl out of the last leafs stem like a Cimicifuga, which I know it isn't.

#2 Looks alot like Anemone blanda with red stems and some red veining. The leaves also unfurl out of the last leafs stem. The leaves are about the same size as Anemone blanda, but I do know it isn't that. The plant is about 2" tall.

Thanx,
Steve
