My DIL gave me some seeds at Christmas. Out of all of them, I was able to get 3 seedlings. I know one is a Black Currant, but I forget what the others are. I'm going to go ahead and put them in the ground here in Zone 8b. I have very hot Florida summer sun. Should I keep them out of the afternoon sun (west) and plant them where I can get them some shade in the afternoon? How tall do you think they'll get? Thanks for the help.

I looked up your datura in Dave's Plant Files- you might want to check it out!
I know from experience, that Daturas love full sun. This variety is smaller than the traditional white Datura. It is listed as growing 24-30" tall. My purple datura seedlings are just popping out of the tray, so I am excited to try this new (to me) variety.
