I have read many posts about controlling Leaf rollers. Below are some of the products mentioned:
Sevin Dust
Bayer Advanced Complete Insect Killer for Gardens
BT
Orthenex Fungicide/Insecticide
1. Which one do you use? If it's not on that list what is it?
2. When do you apply it? Before damage (preventative) is noticed or after?
3. How often do you apply it ?
4. What time of day?
5. How long have you been using it?
6. Are there any you would not recommend?
Let's see if we can get a consensus on the best stuff to use! I'm getting tired of fighting these critters!
Xeramtheum
Leaf Rollers ... What do you use?
my two favorites for any kind of unwanted cats are BT and diatomaeous earth. both are enviroment friendly and non-toxic.
I use only thuricide (BT) on mine. I spray regularly and make sure that I spray down into the newer curled leaf as that is where the leafrollers hide. Thuricide works very well. I also spray the ground around it.
