Waaaaay too soon for leaf rollers!

Ack! It's not even may and I've got leaf rollers .. I guess I'd better break out the spraying gear.

I have never grown Cannas, would you explain to me what makes the leafs roll? Because I have just ordered two of the Stutgart Cannas and need to know what to look for?

I was just reading and are they caterpillars?

Hi,

Leaf Rollers are the larval forms of Skipper Moths. The moth lays eggs on newly emerging leaves then literally stitches the leaf together so it cannot open. As you can see in the pictures, they do some really nasty damage. Fortunately, as far as I know, they are confined to canna.
