Help with ID, please

Fayetteville, NC(Zone 8a)

I have a lot of these irises that all came from a couple of plants that were here when we bought the house seven years ago. I have divided and moved them all and they just keep on putting out the flowers. Now that you all have turned me into an iris addict, I'd like to know the name of this one.

DAUNTLESS has PBF and INDIAN CHIEF does not. That should help you. Looks to 'rosy' to be IC, but it might just be the picture.

Sorry, but what is PBF? I will look up your references in a little while. The color in the photograph is really close to the true color.

Thanks for your help.

avorman--You hit it right on the head!! It is Indian Chief to be sure. They have a little part of the falls above the beard that are turned back upwards. Someplace I saw that called "spooning". The picture of Indian Chief on the link you gave me is the exact same as mine.

You all are so good. Thanks so much for your help. I would never have found it.

Diane
