Still have irises to plant

I was wondering if it is too late to plant irises now. I realize that they wouldn't bloom but I never got a chance to get them in the ground last fall. I am in zone 5 in Detroit. Or would it just be a lost cause now and I should just toss them out? Thank you!!!!

If the rhizomes are still plump and not hollow, go ahead and plant them. Some may not make it, but some may. You might be pleasantly surprised how tough iris can be!
