Jesse's Song

I selected this Iris because my youngest son's name is Jesse and I'm trying to find a special plant for each member of the family.
I can't get over how amazing the bloom of this one is.

This is a great Iris
always dependable and needs very little
care in fact I have her in a road side garden that gets all the abuse from the salt/plow truck during the winter not to mention the oil trucks that can not his a driveway if they wanted to and end up in this particular garden

Cool, I planted it last year, this is my first experience with all my irises

Mine is not likely to see any treatment quite so rough - it should do mighty fine.

I have one other iris blooming but I don't remember what it was, it's medium height and purple.

I'm collecting iris and daylilies with my family's names, too. I'm having more luck with daylilies, though.

I'm doing most of mine in roses and then irises, I'll have to give daylilies a "look see"
