Easy cucumber recipe

Oscoda, MI(Zone 5a)

Horseshoe,

A very busy friend brought this dish to a potluck. I remembered and recreated it, and all of a sudden it is referred to by friends and family as "your special cucumber salad".

Here goes, it's too easy. Peel and quarter cucs lengthwise, then chunk them (not too big). Then cut up some of the freshest, tastiest tomatoes you can find. Mix cucs and tommytoes together and dress with Hidden Valley Ranch dressing. Munch and enjoy. You may add coarse ground black pepper, thinly sliced Vidalia onion (or any other sweet onion), black olives, dill weed or whatever suits your fancy.

Very plain, very simple. For some reason the HVR just really accentuates the cuc and tomato flavor.
