Yes, I used the aquarium rocks by estes' called spectra stone. I got the small package with black and white rocks, and hand separate the two colors for this project. By the way, I got this container from Hobby Lobby. Did I mentioned, it's on sale? LOL.

The plant is Baby's tears.

You can pretty much plant anything such as cactus or miniature hosta, etc.

I've always had terrible luck with Baby's tears - I hope yours behave themselves!

I had no problems with baby tears, they need to bed well drained and cool place to grow. They don't like heat too much. I've been growing them indoors in the basement under plant lights. I even proprogate them without any problems by dividing them.
