Does anyone know how to divide and grow lantana(the weeping type). I tried cutting a new stem and planting it but obviously it didn't work.

Lantana will root well. I usually just cover a branch with soil and it roots very easily....I would suggest you lay a stone or brick on top of the branch to keep it in contact with the soil...I have the weeping ones that come back every year and actually several of mine have come up from seed...but by far the easiest way to root it is to leave the branches attached, and lay them on the soil,...they will root just under each set of leaves.
