Louisiana Iris, but which one?

That doesn't look like an LA to me. It looks like I.Pseudacorus.

Looks like pseudacorus to me also. Does it have a raised rib down the center of each leaf?

I'll be darned. you guys are absolutely correct. Somebody told me it was LA iris and I took their word for it. This actually grows in my neighbor's yard, and it is EVERYWHERE. However, she has a large property and being a skilled gardener, has been able to make it work for her.

Yes, I believe it would be everywhere! I. Pseudacorus is beautiful, but VERY invasive...especially if you get it near water. It drops it's seeds into the water and they travel downstream and root wherever they can.

There are a few hybrids of Pseud. that are sterile, but I can't remember which ones at the moment. I believe 'Berlin Tiger' is...but don't quote me on that! LOL!
