Santa Claus mits

When my children (now 31 and almost 34) were small, I had a pattern for crocheted Santa Claus mits. The front and back were done separately and sewed together. The back of the hand featured a loopy white beard. I think my daughter may still have one mit and I'll ask her to take a photo.

I cannot find the pattern which I think probably originated in Family Circle or similar magazine. Does anyone have a similar pattern? Now that I have 4yr old grand-twins, I'd like to make those again.
