Impatiens

Tampa, FL(Zone 10a)

I am looking for Impatiens pseudoviola and other specie or unusual imps that will grow in warm climates. Pseudoviola once was popular in the UK. Have seen photos in 'Botanica' - Barnes & Noble. Two forms pictured, white and light pink. Would like to get cuttings or seed for it or any impatiens that are unusual.

I have balfouri, glandulifera (Thanks bootandall), sodenii (3 forms), menatziana, digitata x mervensis, arguta, grandis (2 forms), irvingii, & hians. and of coarse the wild self seeding walleriana that loves Florida.

I have a walleriana that has the same habit as pseudoviola, low (6") and spreading. I have to take cuttings every summer because of rot in hot, humid Florida. I have tried it from the seed it sets, it always reverts back to tall and never the same color. My little sweetie is white with a deep lavender eye. Would make a nice hanging basket if I didn't have 40 of them already. I will post a picture of it.

Time to go, Wheel of Fortune is on, the only game I could ever possibly win.
