Movies To Feel Miserable By

Hey Gang,
I enjoy watching movies that are depressing. The more miserable the characters are, the better I like it. For instance, "The Grapes of Wrath" and "Requiem For a Dream" are both great movies in my book. There's something about believing that life can't get any worse when suddenly, KA-BUNK!, it's worse, that fascinates me. Any suggestions for films? I belong to Netflix so have access to most movies known to mankind.
