Sad day...

My heart is breaking right now and i feel so completely lost.

Tonight, we went out to feed and Tina was laying in the middle of the barn floor. We got her up and started walking her, she tried to go down again..i gave her a dose of bantamin (?) and called the vet.

i am so sad to say that we put her down about an hour ago. She had torsion colic and there was nothing we could do for her except ease the pain and let her go peacefully.

I know have Katy that i have to focus on. Shes only 10 days old and i don't know what i'm supposed to do. If anyone has any info on hand-raising an orphan foal please respond asap.
