Charisma, Grandeur Amaryllis

It's that time of year again. I think 'Charisma' is one of the best color combinations I've seen in an amaryllis. 'Grandeur' is the taller one. There are two pots of 'Charisma' surrounding 'Grandeur'.

hc-- your 'Grandeur' is to die for! And the 'Charisma' makes a nice contrast.

I have not seen the Grandeur in catalogs--is it a new one?

Where are you finding those bulbs? Have never seen them offered here in stores or catalogs that I have coming in the mail.

Charisma was bought locally a couple of years ago. Grandeur was from Dutch Gardens about 3 or 4 years ago. I haven't seen it offered recently.

I am watching a Grandeur on e-bay.

Looks like "Easy to grow bulbs" carried Grandeur, too-- $57. for one bulb in a glass vase. Yikes!

I paid $15 for this one plus I picked up Papillio and Melusine for the same price each. I thought that was high until I read this. Maybe the glass vase is special?

Charisma is one of the nicest I've seen recently. There are some fabulous amaryllis!
