Peas in an EB

Brookline, MA(Zone 6a)

Over in the vegetable forum I brought up the topic of growing peas in an EB which led to a discussion of planting density. Has anyone tried it and if so what density has been most productive?

Last year I planted pole beans in an EB. Twelve seeds/side. Had pretty good results in spite of atypical spring weather. Today I planted sugar snap peas with the same "density" i.e., twelve seeds/side. I may be a little late (for here) with the snap peas, and it may be a bit early for pole beans - but in they go (pole beans) tomorrow. I understand you were asking about "peas" peas- the kind you shell etc. etc. Maybe this will help. Good Luck !

escubed - Earthbox shoes peas planted with two rows of 8 and the fertilizer strip in the middle. I haven't grown any peas, but it shouldn't be a problem.
