Today was brilliantly sunny and fairly warm at 34 degrees. We took a ride up to see what was new. The excavation under the summer kitchen wing has reached the stone basement under the main part of the house. I didn't dare try to get in (watch, that extra ten pounds I gained at Christmas would be the last straw to collapse the whole arrangement.
Here's the door I would have gone in!
