Safe Meds for the Pregnant...

I am not pregnant but considering I might not know when I am....can you recommend perhaps over-the-counter, herbal or otherwise (is there an other?) things someone "expecting" could take for any ailment?

I have already been told Melatonin is safe by a mom of 4 as a sleep aid, and Feverfew (I guess this is made into pills) for headaches. But I get pretty bad headaches, almost to the point of migraines. I was told just to take 2 Feverfew and it should cover it. Currently I'll use Excedrin Migraine and it does wonders.

Any other ideas will be appreciated. =)
