What a great place this is - for those of you who like to wander around with your pets, they are welcome also :)

Only a week or so before they open in March. This year I'm going to spend one day with camera and tripod in tow just to try to capture some of the wonderful wildlife - last year we never saw bullfrogs that big or the unusual birds that spend time there.

It's not a fancy place, but if you have the time and are interested in water or just plain "bog" gardening, it's an amazing adventure. The store itself is smaller than you might imagine - it's the vast expance of the ponds that are so unique.
