Anybody grow these ? Any advise ?
Chayote
I've sprouted them, but never got them all the way to harvest due to neglect. There is some info in the plantfiles, you need to plant the seed sideways and somewhat exposed. I know they will grow in your area, as I had a co-worker in the bayarea that used to bring in a lot of them to work from her garden. I was thinking of trying them this year as well.
The one I planted last year died . Now there are 4 sprouts where is ts/was .
