In no way is the intent of this thread to measure or judge but it might be interesting if we shared examples of how other individuals, organizations, or states have attempted to educate the public on the topic of invasive plants. Katy

Lack of funding appears to have tossed education of the public in to the laps of not for profit orgs such as The Nature Conservancy, Invasive Species Initiative, and Wild Ones. Our State is severely lacking in educational funding.. actually we're severely lacking in funding for many programs. Our State maintains websites which appear to be the primary means by which the public is educated.

There are educational workshops for teachers, materials available for classrooms, and contests however that about sums up what's out there to "educate" the public.
