I just wanted to show any of you who might be thinking of using Twisty Baby Locust as a bonsai how much mine planted in the ground has grown. I bought it at WalMart 7 years ago, so that in itself is not too much of a promise of what it might grow into. It was quite tiny then. But as you can see in the photo it is now taller than the peak of my garage. It has been pruned/trimmed every year to try to keep it to the size I would like it to be. I do like the twisty growth, but grows too fast.
