climing vines

I live in dallas and I am havving a very hard time grtting a climing vine to grow in pots with full afternoon cun. Does anyone have any suggestion on any climers that love afternnon sun and grow fast?

I had moonvine this last year in two separate big pots in two separate places and they were both getting very hot afternoon sun. The one sitting on the deck did not do as well as the one sitting in the grass. Also had one growing up a Shepherd's hook in the main flower bed, which did very well. Anyway....I have seeds if you'd like some. The flowers open at night, almost glow in the dark and are quite fragrant.
