Okay, don't laugh at me :(

This is my only double purple datura, planted July 2005! Took 6 weeks to come up. I have had it under grow lights and it just sits there! Any ideas? This pic was taken about 5 minutes ago :(

is it warm enough? They like hot temps to grow well. Is in in the correct soil? Baby seedlings need loose and free-draining soil ie 'fluffy', not compacted - to grow well.

It's in seedling soil, it was in a 1 gallon terrarium with a plant light for a while, it stayed pretty warm. I was afraid it was too moist tho?

Hi Fish,

Some datura babies seem to go into a coma for reasons I don't know. They will get to a certain size then do nothing. When that happens, I spritz them with a Gibberellic Acid solution and they take off like rockets!

Oh good! I ordered some GA-3 last week, should get it any time now. I'll give it a spritz!

I have the same problem with a few of my babys. Where do you get GA-3?
Thanks
