Daylily Society Winter Meetings? Cleveland/Chattanooga FYI
Hi tabasco,
Sounds like it should be a good time in Cleveland with lots of speakers.
Curt Hanson, I have never met him, I hear lots of good things about him, I know he lives about 4 miles (by the way birds fly) directly behind my house.
Are you making a trip to Cleveland?
Shady
Hi, Shady--
I would like to go to Cleveland for a little trip and would love to go to the Hem Conference, but I am not an especially avid Hem collector so would be out of sync with the group there, I think.
-- My DH wants to go to the RRHF. There's a lot to visit in your area...
And we want to go to the Presidential homesteads on the way up there--McKinley, Coolidge, etc., too, so we will be sure to go up at some point before too long.
I would like to go to the Hosta College in Piqua, Ohio, next month. Registration for that starts February 4 at 9 a.m.
tabasco,
I'm a little slow--what is RRHF?
Presidential homesteads-there is also Garfield's place in Mentor, OH.
We too are thinking about Hosta College, Have you gone in past years?
Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. Sorry.
No, I haven't been to the Hosta College. I am relatively new to gardening here so I am just now getting into these meetings/conventions/groups as a way to learn more.
If I am able to register, I will let you know.
They said at our local hosta meeting that if you think you may go, you should make hotel reservations right now, then cancel if you can't make it.
