Hello all,
Has anyone built a pergola over an existing deck? My husband and I are thinking about adding this to one side of our deck - approx. 10'x10' and wonder if it is better to have the pergola attached to the house or have it be freestanding with 4 columns versus attached with 2 columns. Probably will use pressure treated wood and paint to match the painted railings on our deck. All comments and suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks
