Has anybody ever planted Poker Primrose, which are supposed to thrive in almost full shade? The photos I've seen on the Internet look beautiful.

I purchased one last spring already blooming. I kind of forgot about it, I will have to see if it comes back. I wonder if it goes summer dormat? I thought it was a neat flower.

Yes, it does go dormant in the summer. I forgot I planted it and I hacked at it. I put it back in the ground I hope it comes back. I had a marker beside it !!

I am so glad to hear that There might be hope. Will have to watch for it in the spring. Do you know when does it start coming up?
I received it as a trade last Spring, it went dormant as the temperature rose. You should see it when the daffodils come out or other Spring flowers.

I did years ago, with seed from England, took one month to germinate in my greenhouse, then grew like gangbusters, and returned every year faithfully - I loved them!
