Ah don't ya just love the weather here!
How did you all fair in the Alberta Clipper last night?
We had 50 MPH gusts in the late afternoon.
We played dodge the can, limb and wires all the way home from work.
Our phone line got ripped out by a 6" limb.
Steady 30 MPH all night and snowing now.
48 Degrees tomorrow! LOL

Alberta Clipper Results?
Something about Tuesday nights I guess. I left Xavier last tuesday at 9:30 couldn't use the high beams because the snow was coming down so heavy... same last night.
We didnt have any damage...thankfully.
We got about 1/4 inch of snow overnight, but the thunder around 5 pm was incredible!

It hailed today. The size of marbles!
Later in the afternoon I sowed poppies and transplanted an heirloom iris (I think it is an heirloom; will have to wait for the bloom) we found at an abandoned farm. Two years ago we collected a few iris there and they turned out to be Iris Flavescens (circa 1813). Like dumpster diving, only smells better.
