Bagged Manure

Hi All:

I have read several threads in which it was stated that purchasing the 40 pound bags of top soil from garden centers was not worth as the soil is not that good.

Does the same apply to bagged manure?

Last bag I bought was .05-.05-.05 black sand.

Bronx boy start looking for a compost operation. Bet there is one in your area either a stable, dairy,hog are turkey operation. I am sure there is something in your area. You can buy it bulk. some of these outfits use giant drums like we been talking about on here and turn out compost awful fast.
