Record Rainfall....even in Seattle?!

Olympia, WA(Zone 7b)

Okay, so not really IN Seattle. They didn't get rain for one day which messed up their record. But here in Olympia...we broke the record!! Yep, the most number of days in a row with measurable rain, now at 34 and expected to go one more day. The previous record of 33 days was set back in 1953. There are flood watches all over Western Washington, and you learn to just not go anywhere without Gortex! At least we get a record out of the deal.

I'm looking forward to Sunday, when not only should we get some sun, but the Seahawks are still in the playoffs (I'm not even a football fan, but the excitement is contageous)!!

Moab, UT(Zone 6b)

the wc just said that due to the prevailing ground moisture the chances were big for fog thick enough to interfere with ground travel as well as possible interruption of airline timing. So don't count on seeing much sun I guess. keep us posted.
