L. lankongense.

Hi
Are the lankongense hybrids heat tolerant?
Thanks Dennis

Most of the species like or can take part shade. I don't think it's the heat as much as the sun and all lilies like to have their feet shaded. This guy is also suppose to be a prolific multipler. It sends runners underground and leaves bublets behind, so you'll see them popping up here, there and everywhere unless you contain it. From what I've read, people really like it despite its wandering ways. I think it's suppose to be very fragrant. Info I've seen indicates zone 5 through 8.

I just went through all the L.langkongence hybrids offered in The Lily Garden catalog and there was no mention of heat tolerance for any of them. Those are all making me drool to.

I love that bloom shape, and the introduction of fragrance into the Asiatics is so awsome! Of course, I want them all!
