Does anyone know about import restrictions of plant tubers from India to the US.
My husband is there and I would like him to bring back some Alocasia tubers but I am uncertain if this is allowed.
Also, what do they call Alocasia in India? Taro or something else?

If a phytosanitary certificate is required he would have to obtain it in India
