Can anyone has any suggestion to how to dig nandinas, and how hard are they to dig up? I have several mature plants and I need to move them from where they are now and relocate them. When is the best time to do it?
nandinas
I have moved several of them(4or5) without any trouble at all.
I even put a couple back into pots for a while, then replanted
them a few months later again with no problems.
I would advise to keep as much of the rootball intact as you can.
Good luck!

The nandinas in my front yard seem to be virtually indestructible. I dug one up last fall and moved it about six feet. It's doing fine.
