Chicken egg w/ blood on shell, what's up with that ?

Today I collected an egg that had blood smeared all over
the shell. Anyone else had this ?

This is a bantam that is so skiddish, she won't even let the
rooster get close to her. She's a fast runner and skitters around
the pen so fast none of the other chickens ever get close.
She's pretty high strung and prudish.........quite a proper little
lady.............LOL
