I have a Ginger Lily (have no idea what kind) that I got in a trade. My question is, does it need sun or shade. I have it planted where it gets almost full sun and it's not doing too well. The leaves keep trying to curl on it. I know I have to dig it up for the winter here in Ohio but that's about all I know. Any help appreciated. Nett
Ginger Lily
Nett,
Some Ginger's take sun and some
need 1/2 shade. I have mine (8 kinds) planted in morning sun, with afternoon shade. I see you are in zone 5, I don't think Ginger is hardy in your zone. You may want to plant in large pot and bring inside in the winter. In large pot you can move around until Ginger is HAPPY.
