Hot flashes

My Dr took me off my hrt meds. because I have been on them for 20 years. I am 60 years old and the hot flashes are driving me crazy. I can't sleep at night and have them all day long. Can anyone suggest anything that will help with this. Don't want to go back on the hrt because chances of breast cancer.
