Good morning, everyone ~

Been enjoying the good life: fishin' on the delta on Sat. and Sun. evening. The oldest DD had to work both evenings, so she missed out, but the younger DD caught a blue-gil on Sat. and DS caught an as yet unknown type of fish on Sun. DH caught a blue-gil, too, but let DS reel it in, so he has now lost claim to it. The first two fish were hooked pretty deep in, so we took 'em home and cooked 'em up. The last one was pretty tiny and just hooked in the lip, so DS elected to let it go. The kids were pretty excited - I know, shame on us - this was the first time they went fishing. The skeeters had more luck than us, though - DEET not withstanding, we got bit pretty good :-)
