This is from my journal last Christmas Eve:
"Julia went to Clymer this morning and she called to tell me that it was like a movie - kids home from their first semester at college meeting for hugs and breakfast at the Dutch Village, the town matrons picking up last minute suppplies for dinner on Christmas Day, families home for the holiday taking their kids around town, not parking place in the whole town. She said it was great, sunny and snowy, little kids with sleds and mittens. It was exactly what Americans dream of when they want to think of where we all should be from."
My wish for you all is a Christmas of love, and joy and the hope of peace on Earth, and good will to all. God bless us, every one.
